This place is kind of like the Bleeker Bob's of film stills and posters. It's a tiny store, packed to the gills with a seeming disarray of posters, photos and videotape cases. The selection is extensive. Jerry Ohlinger is a bit of a curmudgeon as well, though in a more good-natured and less sleazy way than our favorite denizen of Bleecker Street. All the posters and stills are stocked in the rear area of the store, behind the "order" counter. Employees are very knowledgeable will happily show you a pricelist for posters, and help you find stills from particular films or of particular performers. Posters vary widely in price, from under $20 to the completely unaffordable (for instance, the original German poster from Herzog's 1979 Nosferatu was listed at $200 -- ouch), but stills are really cheap: $3 for 8"x10" black and white and $5 for color shots.
